Men's annual bike trip
Upcoming Men's Bike Trip:
September 21-22, 2007 - Door County, WI
This is one of two events we do that is for men (18 and older) only. We started this event in 1992 and have taken a trip every year. There have been as few as three riders and as many as sixteen. Most of the trips are in rural areas of Illinois, Wisconsin, and Michigan. The daily rides are about 40-70 miles in length, are on lightly traveled roads, and are supported by a 'sag wagon' with water, snacks, tools, and an occasional weary rider. These trips are not a competition, they are a time for men to encourage one another and have fun. We don't get in a hurry and we take several breaks during the day for snacks and laughs. Most of the riders are men of average riding ability. We don't have matching uniforms or fancy bikes, but we always have a great time. We are known as 'team riding ugly'.
